LWV of Wyoming Expresses Disappointment in Governor Gordon’s Decision on HB 156

The League of Women Voters of Wyoming (LWVWY) is disappointed by Governor Gordon’s decision to allow HB 156, Proof of voter residency-registration qualifications, to pass into law without his signature. In his veto message, Gov. Gordon states that he is confident that our elections are conducted properly and questions the legality of this law and its necessity. Yet, it now becomes part of our Election Code. The LWVWY primarily focuses on voter education and access, and is an issue we have always prioritized. We opposed this bill throughout the 2025 legislative session.

LWVFC apologizes for errors

The League of Women Voters of Fremont County apologizes that the print edition of their General Election Voter Guide mistakenly omitted information about a candidate for House District 55, and placed information about another candidate in the wrong district.

The correct information is now available on Vote411 (www.vote411.org) and will be available in the digital version of the General Election Voter Guide, released in early October.
